Split into five distinct regions: Latin America, Euro-Asia, North Africa/Middle East, Sub-Saharan Africa, and Asia Pacific, HCJB has operations all around the globe.

Ministries have been established in more than 300 communities in more than 100 countries and broadcast the gospel in more than 120 languages and dialects. Thousands of healthcare patients are also meeting Jesus.

There are roughly 1,000 people on staff worldwide, including missionaries, employees and full-time volunteers. Approximately 350 of them are supported missionaries on staff (including spouses), or about 250 family units worldwide.

The budget for 2006-2007 fiscal year is nearly $40 million.

HCJB is a big ministry organization, and there is a great need for people with software development skills, like Sarah and myself, to come along side them and help support their software infrastructure. That is why they have asked us to expedite our support raising process and target to be in Colorado Spring, CO by the first quarter of 2007.

As software developers we would be in a unique position to support the missionaries that are on the front lines; to provide them with the tools that they need to be most effective at reaching the world for Jesus Christ.
