Support Milestone Reached!!
Wednesday, January 24, 2007 @ 8:49 PM

I had meant to make an announcement when our support level reached 10%, but by the Lord's grace, we jumped right over it to 12%!!

It's exciting to watch how the Lord is providing for our ministry!!

Thank you to all our faithful prayer and financial partners who have helped us get to this milestone. Truly the work the Lord wants to do through Sarah and I, is being provided for by the Lord, through you! Together we form an interdependent team... all dependent on the Lord, and each-other, to reach the world with the good news of Jesus Christ.

Weekend away... Chicago!
Monday, January 22, 2007 @ 1:20 PM

As I enjoy a slice of leftover Chicago Deep Dish Pizza, I thought I would share with you about our wonderful weekend trip to Chicago. In part is was to celebrate my birthday, and also in part it was a chance to get away from the craziness of life to refresh and renew and reconnect. It was great!

We got a chance to see the Chicago Field Museum, which was fascinating and had way more to see than we had time for. Of course the museum is famous for 'Sue' the largest, most complete, and best preserved T-Rex that has ever been found. It was quite impressive! My favorite part was an exhibit about Africa, focusing on the people and cultures of several different countries from across the continent. Also, there was a huge exhibit of taxidermied animals of all shapes and sizes.

What an adventure to explore the great diversity of God's creation!

The laptop is back online
Saturday, January 06, 2007 @ 4:02 PM
Thanks to all of you that prayed about this, because the Laptop is working again.

I was on the phone with HP last night for a good hour or so and somehow the company went from covering everything, to us paying aound $700 to get it fixed... and all to be payed up front. So as Sarah and I are trying to recover from the sticker shock, Sarah decides to give the computer one last try even though all other attmpts last night failed... so we said one more quick prayer and hit the power button... and it came online!! Its working perfectly, as if nothing had happened. Praise the Lord.

We'll see how the next couple of days go, but it's looking like its going to be ok.

God Bless,

Laptop Problems
Friday, January 05, 2007 @ 8:59 AM
Last night our laptop computer went out of service due to my own fault. I have already talked to HP this morning and praise the Lord the computer is still under warranty and they are going to cover everything, they didn't even give me a hassle.

But the inconvenience of not having it for a while is going to be a problem as we depend that machine for our ministry work.

Lord willing, it will be back up and running quickly. Please pray that is the case.

God Bless,

Changes for 2007
Monday, January 01, 2007 @ 3:55 PM
Happy New Year!

It’s hard to believe 2006 has come and gone and we are already beginning 2007. Last year was an amazing and busy year for us, full of adventures and changes. We are looking forward to seeing what God has in store for us this year!

The first change for 2007 is a pretty big one. As of January 12th, I (Sarah) will be leaving my full time job. I have enjoyed my job, my company has been wonderful, and I have learned so much since I started there. I will miss it and the people I have gotten to know while there, however, our priorities are taking us in a different direction.

With both of us working full time, it has been extremely difficult to keep up with everything we need to do for our ministry. Working on a letter sometimes means the laundry or dishes have to wait yet another day. Just keeping up with everything on a daily basis has become tremendously draining, leaving us with little energy to keep pressing on. We are hoping that having me home to work on things during the day will help to alleviate some of that strain.

Please pray for us during this transition. We are a little nervous about this big step, but we know that this is the direction God has brought us.
