Once a year our church Life Stream, has an international banquet and this year's theme was Latin America, or more specifically Peru. Ecuador, where Sarah and I both served as short-term missionaries, is located just north of Peru, so we took the opportunity to show off some of our stuff. Some of our souvenirs mixed with other Latin American goodies!
Dining with some of our Life Stream friends (I of course am taking the picture).
Thank you to everyone who prayed for Sarah last week. She spent 3 days solid in bed, but woke up as good as new. Thanks again,
Would you join me in prayer for Sarah’s health? For the past week she has shown signs of being sick, but over the past few days it has really intensified hitting a fever of over 100 degrees. I took her to the doctor, but she could only say that it was most likely a virus and there really wasn’t much we could do but wait until it passed. After a few days a pretty much solid rest, chicken soup, and orange juice, Sarah does appear to be doing better, but the virus hasn’t given up yet. I would greatly appreciate it if you would join me in praying for a quick recovery for Sarah. Thank you and God Bless,
Yesterday we had the opportunity to share about our ministry with Saginaw Bay Church of Christ--our church family while we were in college. We are so grateful for their interest, excitement and encouragement! After the presentation, we had a chance to meet with the people from the church and share more about what we are doing. Also, we got to stay for lunch, yum!
A big thanks to everyone at SBCC for allowing us to visit, and for your amazing hospitality!
In December we told you about how HCJB World Radio had announced that in January, they would be changing its name to HCJB Global. Well that change was made as planned, and they have put together a quick flash movie to highlight the changes.
