Note from HCJB Global's Executive Director of Information Systems

We recently received this note from HCJB Global's Juan Cabrera, Executive Director of Information Systems, detailing out the urgency of their need for our software development skills.
"HCJB Global is very excited about Sarah & Dennis Crissman joining our Ministry Service Center in Colorado Springs, CO. With their honed skills as software developers we have a great need for them to begin working as soon as possible because the Ministry Service Center is the “hub” of communication for all our regional centers located in Euro Asia, Asia Pacific, Sub-Saharan Africa, North Africa/Middle East, and the Americas. HCJB Global is in the midst of a necessary transition in how we work around the world as well as implementing a foundational software project which will track all our donor and financial information. We have a tremendous, immediate need for the skills and knowledge of the Crissman’s because of those issues. Additionally, an integral staff member working with our foundational software program left our organization causing an even greater sense of urgency for us to have the Crissman’s raise their funds and join our staff. We hope you will strongly consider supporting the Crissman’s in their journey with the Lord and HCJB Global."
We believe the Lord has set this mission before us... but we can't do it alone. Please consider becoming a monthly financial partner with our ministry.
Many areas of Ecuador have recently been devastated by flooding. HCJB Global has teamed up with several other organizations to provide relief for the people. They are working to provide medical care, food, clean drinking water and at the same time, taking the opportunity to share about God’s love through various evangelism efforts. Check out this YouTube video to see what is being done!
A Time for Praise

What a crazy month and a half it has been since our move. I think we are finally getting settled in, though we still have a few pillars of boxes waiting to be unpacked. We are slowly learning our way around and venturing out every so often to explore the area. Also, we are thankful Dennis is finally adjusting to the office environment here, which is very different from what he had had back in Grand Rapids.
A quick update on our car situation… The car did end up being totaled, but we were able to sell it to a selvage yard for at least a little something. Since we are not really able to get another car right now, we are juggling just the one car. Although not an ideal situation, we are thankful to see how God guided our decisions which have allowed it to work out just fine. We had seriously considered selling our second car before we moved, but now we are so thankful we didn’t! Also, we made it a priority to find an apartment close to Dennis’ office, so it isn’t too much trouble for me to take him in on days I need the car. The little car has always been very reliable, but it is getting older and isn’t used to being our primary transportation. It has been “acting up” recently, so please pray that it would keep running!
And now for our big praise! Although there have been a million things working against us to bring us down, we are absolutely beside ourselves in amazement at how quickly God led us to a new church family! The first church we visited was just what we were looking for. We have been so blessed, encouraged, and most importantly challenged each and every time we step in the door. It has sparked some truly deep conversations and helped us to refocus on what is most important in our lives. This week we will begin meeting with a “Life Group”—a small group Bible study meeting in someone’s home for the purpose of “doing life together.” We look forward to what God is going to do in and through this group.
Thanks for your continued prayers. Please especially pray that we would be able to quickly begin building relationships here as we continue to discover how God is going to fund our ministry.
