Missions Presentation -- Saginaw, MI -- March 4
Friday, February 16, 2007 @ 11:28 AM
On March 4th we will be sharing about our ministry with Saginaw Bay Church of Christ in Saginaw, Michigan. We are very excited about this opportunity since this was our church family while we were in college, and we are really looking forward to being able to visit with them. We are planning to share during both Sunday school (9:30 am) and the morning service (10:30 am).

Time for Bible Study and Fellowship
Wednesday, February 07, 2007 @ 1:43 PM
While we are definitely busy working on raising the funds we need to get to Colorado, that doesn’t mean all else has stopped in our lives! We know how important it is to remain connected with other Christians and to continue to grow in our knowledge of the Bible. Therefore, we have gotten involved in some stuff going on at our church on Wednesday nights. Dennis is helping out with the youth group meetings. So far they have been pretty easy on him ;) let’s pray that continues to be the case! While Dennis is doing that, I have joined a ladies Bible study going through the Purpose Driven Life. I have heard so many good things about the book that I am really excited to finally be diving into it.

Also, we had decided to take a break this semester from the college Bible classes we have to take in order to work with HCJB Global. (Last semester’s Old Testament class was a ton of work!) However, this past month we hooked up with another couple here in Grand Rapids who is also raising funds to work with HCJB Global. As it turns out, this couple, Ryan and Sandi, were getting ready to host a theology class at their place Thursday nights. By adding in a little extra discussion time and reading, we are going to be able to count this towards the credit we need for HCJB Global. Not only is it fascinating and challenging to learn so much detail about the Christian doctrine found in the Bible, it is a great time of fellowship. (Thanks Ryan for all the work you have put and will put into the theology study! We really appreciate it and have learned so much already!)
