Financial Support Goals
Tuesday, July 18, 2006 @ 8:29 PM
HCJB has given us some rough numbers for our financial support goals. We are looking for individuals and churches to commit to partnering with our ministry on a monthly basis. The required amount below is the minimum required each month to serve with HCJB.REQUIRED: $5,140/mo
RECOMMENDED: $6,168/mo
On top of this we are also seeking one time gifts to help cover our moving expenses and other expenses to get us started. We will let you know when we have a better idea of what those other expenses are going to be.
Out of every donation that comes in 10% is taken off the top for Administration and 14.5% is taken off for our Medical Plan. Everything else gets split up between our various accounts including our Housing Allowance, Ministry Fund, Retirement, & our Salary.
Please pray about partnering with us financially and let the Lord lead in your decision.

God Bless,

The amount raised by HCJB World Radio missionaries covers many areas.
We receive a personal Allowance and Housing Allowance which would correspond to your take-home pay.
We also must raise funds to cover the cost of the benefit package we receive. This includes 100% of social security cost, putting funds aside for our Health Reimbursement Account, contributing to a retirement program, and we are charged 14.5% of all funds received to cover our medical premium.
All gifts received are taxed 10% to cover the cost of processing all paperwork connected with our family included the receipting of all gifts, processing of payroll, medical reimbursements, ministry expenses, etc.
There are two levels of support. A required amount which covers the above items and a recommended amount which will allow us to use any additional funds for ministry related expenses like the printing of our newsletters, postage for mailings, purchasing a computer, and unanticipated emergency costs. These extra funds also allow us to build up a reserve for travel expenses when we go home to meet with supporters.
Does that answer your question?
