FAQ: What happens to funds given prior to starting our work?

Until we have the monthly financial pledges that we need and move to Colorado, any pledge fulfillments or one time gifts HCJB Global receives for our ministry, are put into an account held by HCJB Global and saved until we need them. Having a reserve is actually required. First, it goes towards our one time moving expenses to get out there. Second, we need a month's worth of support to cover our first month with the mission. Then, since missionaries rarely have a consistent inflow of funding, this account will also serve as a reserve for months where maybe all the funding we need doesn't come in, and will be replenished on months where extra is given.God Bless.
